September 20, 2012 Midnight, Mass has been optioned for television by NBC.
The short-lived DC Comics miniseries will be adapted for the medium based on a script by Snow White and the Huntsman co-writer Evan Daugherty, Deadline reports.
Published under DC’s Vertigo imprint in 2002, Midnight, Mass follows the adventures of a globe-trotting husband and wife who work as paranormal investigators.
Series creator John Rozum will act as a creative consultant on the project, which will be produced by Warner Bros TV and Bill Gerber’s Gerber Pictures.
NBC attempted to adapt Midnight, Mass in 2009 with a different writing team on board, but the venture failed to bear fruit.
A cast and director for Midnight, Mass are yet to be appointed.
