September 16, 2008 Film rights optioned for PA zombie comic Deadworld. Having been through the hands of 3 different comic companies, you know there’s going to be a market for this. Deadworld is a series of comic based on post-apocalyptic scenarios with none other then our favorite miscreants, zombies, and has been running off and on since 1987. Currently in the hands of Image, film rights have been optioned by Framelight Productions. While there really isn’t much news, the producer Jeffrey Erb is not unfamiliar with PA films as he was the Executive Producer on Tooth & Nail. Let’s hope it gets made!
