Bitter Root has been optioned as a live-action feature film by Legendary Pictures, according to Deadline. The comic book’s co-creators David F. Walker, Sanford Greene, and Chuck Brown will reportedly be among the executive producers.
“[With Bitter Root, we’re] mixing action and horror, with a cast of characters unique to the medium to tell an epic tale of the Sangerye family, and the sacrifices they are willing to make for humanity,” said Walker before the book’s debut.
